Deanna Arnold Employers Advantage DEANNA BAUMGARDNER, PHR and SHRM-CP – OWNER &  HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Deanna Arnold is an HR Consultant with a solid generalist background and extensive experience in creating and establishing the Human Resources function for an organization. She has proven successful in her field by providing solid Human Resources guidance and leadership in various industries, for both small and large organizations. Her industry experience includes, but is not limited to, commercial & residential construction, real estate development, hospitality, and distribution & manufacturing. 

Deanna graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and became a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) shortly thereafter. Deanna is also certified in Mental Health First Aid, qualifying her to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses. She has been an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) since 2003 and is an active member of the Charlotte Area Society for Human Resources Management (CASHRM), the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Norman Executive Group. Additionally, Deanna serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the LakeNormanHR SHRM Chapter, on the HR Advisory Committee for the Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioners, and on the Board for Project Outpour, a local nonprofit dedicated to uplifting Charlotte’s homeless community by providing showers and other basic needs. 

 
Tammy Medico, PHR and SPHR-CP - HR CONSULTANT & RECRUITER TAMMY MEDICO, PHR and SPHR-CP   – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Tammy is an extremely experienced and highly capable Strategic Human Resources professional who has excelled in a diverse set of industries.  She shines at implementing strategic initiatives while integrating balance between progressive solutions and consideration of employee and management needs.  She served as the VP of Human Resources for a mid-sized bank, a Senior HR Consultant for the Industrial and tech sectors,  a VP of Human Resources for 25 airport locations across the US and in leadership positions in the non-profit and financial sectors.  Tammy graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Granite State College.

 
SHANNON CURTIS – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Shannon Curtis is a Human Resource Business Partner with her Professional in Human Resources credentials. She has served in a Human Resource capacity for over 15. Until recently, she has functioned as an in-house Business Partner for organizations in nearly all industries, spanning from a nonprofit to a mortgage company to a newspaper to a financial institution. Whether recruiting for a specialized IT position, or implementing benefits open enrollment for 500 employees, she has become comfortable navigating the challenges of serving as a representative for both the employees and upper management.

Shannon graduated from Ohio University with a specialization in Human Resources and she and her family recently moved to Charlotte from Chicago.

 

   
MARIE TIMNEY – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Marie is a Human Resources Consultant offering over 20 years of HR generalist experience. She has worked in a managerial capacity for various companies’ corporate headquarters in industries such as software engineering, supply and logistics, and government contracting.

Additionally, she worked as an HR Consultant for seven years prior to joining our team. Marie received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and her MBA from Georgia State University with a major in Human Resources Management. Marie’s specialties include employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, full-cycle recruitment and employment law compliance. 

JESSICA LORELLO  – HR OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Jessica comes to us from Boone, NC, and has a strong, diverse background in operations, administration, research and management. She has extensive knowledge in event planning and project management. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and from Appalachian State University with a Masters of Arts in College Student Development.

 

 
KATE BARAN  – HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

Kate comes from Chicago with extensive experience supporting large organizations in their HR functions. From Professional Development to recruiting, Kate excels at identifying areas of improvement and facilitating efficient and streamlined processes. She has a passion for helping individuals navigate the corporate world for career growth and organizational benefit. In her spare time, Kate enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, hiking in the mountains, and a strong cup of coffee.

 

 
BRENDA SIEBENALER, SPHR, CPLP – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT, FLORIDA

Brenda is an accomplished Human Resources Professional with more than 25 years of demonstrated success in the HR industry working with various companies including: Royal Caribbean Cruises, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Pirates, Office Depot and USAirways.

Brenda has an extensive strategic and operational human resources background including multi-state and international HR. She has a rich history in Human Resources Strategy and Implementation, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, Coaching and Training, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Performance Management and Compliance. Throughout her career, she has become proficient in all areas of Human Resources. As one of our HR Consultants, Brenda will be supporting the Tampa, Florida region.

Brenda is a Senior Human Resource Professional (SPHR) and Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) and holds a Bachelors in Communication and Masters of Education from Slippery Rock University.

RACHEL BRUMBELOW   – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Rachel is an accomplished and strategic Senior Level Human Resources Professional with over 20 years of experience. She has a proven track record in a variety of diverse industries including Manufacturing, Warehouse/Distribution, Automotive, Retail, Restaurant, Construction, and Private and Government Engineering.

Rachel has an extensive background in HR. She is proficient in all areas of Human Resources including Employee Relations, Leadership Development, Coaching, Training and Development, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Performance Management, Benefit and Wellness Design, Open Enrollment implementation, Workers Compensation, Injury and Illness Prevention Programs.

Rachel graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women in Gender Studies. She is a national member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) as well as a member of the Charlotte Area SHRM Chapter (CASHRM).

Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and four rescue dogs. She loves to be outdoors and on the water.

LISA EALY – SHRM-SCP, HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT, MARYLAND

Lisa Ealy is a Human Resources Consultant with over 25 years of experience. She has a proven track record in diverse industries including, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Warehouse/Distribution, Industrial Parts, and Non-Profit.

Lisa is committed to providing human capital expertise and consultation that is aligned with organizational strategic growth, innovation and employee essentials. Lisa has expertise in innovation, employee relations, HRIS System Implementations, talent management and recruiting, immigration management, organizational development, policy development, HR compliance, performance management, and change management. She has a demonstrated strength in continuous improvement and records management and understands how to help her clients thrive though difficulties. She has as a special talent for ensuing winning outcomes.

DAISY ANAWALT  – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT, CALIFORNIA 

Daisy is an experienced and highly capable multi-lingual (Spanish) Strategic Human Resources professional who has excelled in a diverse set of industries and circumstances over the past 14 years. She has extensive hands-on experience in employee relations, benefits, HR processes, performance management, workers’ compensation, injury and illness prevention programs (IIPP), and more.

Daisy is a well-rounded HR Generalist who enjoys creating, streamlining and improving HR processes and procedures and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service with quality work.

She graduated with Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a minor in Marketing/Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona.  Daisy is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is currently working towards her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certificate.
